These terms govern your use of the Ilmeera app and your Ilmeera account. By using the app you accept them and the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Ilmeera is a platform schools use to run their operations. Its app lets parents and guardians follow what the school publishes about their children: attendance and absences, marks and report cards, fees, and announcements. The platform is provided by Softloomer.
2. Who uses the app
The app is for guardians whose mobile number a school has registered. Accounts cannot be created in the app itself; if you cannot sign in, contact the school to check the number it has for you.
3. Your account
- Keep your phone safe and never share your verification code: anyone who has the code can sign in to your account.
- If you lose your phone or change your number, tell the school so it updates your number, and email us to end your old device's sessions.
4. School content
The school is responsible for the accuracy of the marks, attendance, fees and announcements it publishes; we show this content as the school enters it. If you notice a mistake, contact the school to correct it.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Try to access an account other than your own, or data of students who are not your children.
- Disrupt the service, get around its protections, or flood it with automated requests.
- Use the app or its data for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, in coordination with the school.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available, but it may stop at times for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We may improve the app and change its features.
7. Liability
We provide the app "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions based on data the school entered incorrectly, or for indirect damage resulting from the service being unavailable.
8. Ownership
The app, its design, and the Ilmeera name and logo belong to Softloomer. The school's data and its students' data belong to the school.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will publish the new version on this page with its last-updated date. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept it.
