Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Ilmeera is a school management platform. School staff use it to run the school, and parents and guardians follow their children through the Ilmeera mobile app. The platform is provided by Softloomer, based in New Cairo, Egypt. This policy explains the data we handle, why, and how we protect it.

1. Who is responsible for the data

2. The data we handle

What the school enters and the app shows you

For each of your children: name, stage, grade and section, date of birth, attendance, absences, late arrivals and excuses, marks and report cards, fees, installments and payments, and announcements and notifications. The school keeps other student data in its own records, such as the ID number it needs for official systems.

What is collected when you use the app

What stays on your device only

Your session data, in the operating system's secure storage (the iOS Keychain or the Android Keystore), and the app language you chose.

3. What we do not do

4. Why we use the data

5. Who we share data with

6. Where data is stored

The service currently runs on servers at a hosting provider in the United States, and connections pass through the Cloudflare network. When the platform is set up for a school, where its data is hosted is agreed with that school.

7. How data is protected

No system can guarantee complete protection.

8. How long we keep data

9. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data:

10. Children

The app is meant for parents and guardians; children do not create accounts in it. Student data is entered by their schools and is shown in the app only to their guardians.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service changes, and we will publish the new version on this page with its last-updated date.
